1. Who we are
MOPPYE ("we", "us", "the platform") operates moppye.nl, a marketplace connecting clients who need cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals (zzp'ers) in the Netherlands, currently piloting in Amsterdam.
MOPPYE acts as a technology intermediary only. We are not the employer of cleaning professionals, and we do not provide cleaning services ourselves.
2. What data we collect
If you book a cleaning service (client):
- Name, email address, phone number
- Address details (zip code, house number, street — resolved via the official Dutch PDOK address lookup)
- Booking details: service type, date, time, duration, notes you provide
- Payment information (processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details)
If you register as a cleaning professional:
- Name, email address, phone number, zip code
- KVK (Chamber of Commerce) registration number, used to verify your status as an independent professional
- Your self-declared hourly rate and the services you offer
- Payment information for the fixed lead fee (processed by Stripe)

4. Who we share data with (sub-processors)
We use the following third-party services to operate MOPPYE. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
5. Visibility between clients and cleaners
To protect your privacy during the matching process:
- Cleaners browsing the open requests board see only the zip code, service type, duration, and any notes you add — never your name, full address, email, or phone number.
- Your full address and contact details are shared with a cleaner only after they accept your request and the booking is confirmed.
- Clients never see a cleaner's KVK number or personal documents — only their name and the rate they've set for your specific request.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep booking and account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with Dutch tax and accounting obligations (typically 7 years for financial records, as required by Dutch law).
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time — see Section 8 below.
7. Your rights under GDPR
As a resident of the EU/Netherlands, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain types of processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
